๐Ÿฆถ

One-Pedal Driving

The accelerator is also your brake โ€“ regeneration makes it possible

+

When you lift off the gas, the Tesla brakes automatically through regeneration โ€“ energy is fed back into the battery. With some practice, you hardly need the brake pedal!

โšก
How it Works Press gas = accelerate. Lift gas = brake. The more you lift, the stronger the braking. All the way to a complete stop!

Energy Recovery

Up to 30% more range

๐Ÿ›ž

Less Wear

Brake pads last forever

๐Ÿ˜Œ

More Relaxed Driving

One pedal for everything

๐Ÿ’ก

Assistance Systems (Optional)

Helpful, but not mandatory โ€“ you decide how much support you want

+

Tesla offers many assistance systems that make driving easier. You can use them โ€“ but don't have to. Each system can be activated or deactivated individually.

๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ

Autopilot

Maintains lane and distance on the highway โ€“ you just monitor

๐Ÿšจ

Collision Warning

Warns and brakes automatically in danger

๐Ÿš—

โšก

Supercharger

Tesla vs. Competition

Model 3 & Model Y in direct comparison with BMW, Audi & Mercedes

๐Ÿ“Š

Why Tesla?

More car for the money โ€“ with unbeatable charging comfort

+

Tesla offers not only more range and cheaper charging costs, but also unique features like the frunk, over-the-air updates and the Supercharger network. The German premium brands have caught up โ€“ but Tesla remains ahead in many areas.

๐Ÿ’ก
Trunk Advantage: The Frunk
A "Frunk" is a Front Trunk โ€“ so a trunk in front under the hood. Since electric cars don't have a large combustion engine, Tesla uses this space for additional storage. Perfect for wet items, charging cables or valuables โ€“ separate from the main luggage!

The Future: FSD

Full Self-Driving โ€“ from parking spot to parking spot, fully automatic

Since December 2025 in DE

Your Tesla Drives Itself โ€“ You Just Monitor

Tesla FSD (Full Self-Driving) is the world's most advanced driving assistance system. You enter a destination โ€“ the Tesla drives you there. From home parking spot to destination parking spot. Anywhere, any route.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

FSD Supervised (Today)

You sit at the wheel and monitor โ€“ the Tesla drives

+

FSD Supervised means: The Tesla handles complete driving โ€“ gas, brake, steering, signaling. You sit in the driver's seat and monitor. Your task: Look forward and be ready to intervene at any time.

๐ŸŽฏ
What "Supervised" Means
You must sit in the driver's seat, keep your gaze mostly forward, and be able to take over anytime. The system detects via camera if you're paying attention. That's how simple it is!

๐Ÿš— What FSD Can Do:

๐Ÿ

Start: Your Driveway

Reverse out, merge into street

๐Ÿ™๏ธ

City Navigation

Traffic lights, intersections, roundabouts, crosswalks

๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ

Highway

Enter, lane change, overtake, exit

๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ

Destination: Parking Spot

Find parking spot and park

๐Ÿ“ Example Trips:

1

To Work

From your garage in Kassel โ†’ through the city โ†’ onto A7 โ†’ exit Gรถttingen โ†’ into company parking garage. You just sit and watch.

2

To IKEA

From home โ†’ country road โ†’ roundabout โ†’ highway โ†’ IKEA parking lot. The Tesla even finds a free parking space and parks.

3

On Vacation

500 km to Munich โ€“ the Tesla drives, plans charging stops at Supercharger, and you relax (with eyes on the road).

4

Narrow Old Town

Even through winding alleys, one-way streets and pedestrian zones โ€“ FSD navigates everywhere.

๐Ÿ“Š
Statistics from the USA
Tesla drivers with FSD have, according to Tesla data, 15ร— fewer accidents than the average driver. The system learns from billions of driven kilometers.
๐Ÿค–

FSD Unsupervised (Future)

No driver needed โ€“ the car drives completely alone

+

FSD Unsupervised is the next level: The car no longer needs a driver in the seat. You summon your car via app โ€“ it comes to you. You get out โ€“ it parks itself. This is the technology that enables robotaxis.

๐Ÿ“ฑ

Summon Car

Via app โ€“ it drives to you

๐Ÿš•

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง

Pick Up Kids

๐ŸŒ™

Night Parking

โณ
Status in Germany
FSD Unsupervised is already active in certain areas in the USA (June 2025: Texas & California). In Germany, we're still waiting for approval โ€“ but the hardware is built into every new Tesla!
๐Ÿ’ก
Your Tesla is Prepared
Every Tesla from 2024 has the HW4 hardware for fully autonomous driving built in. When approval comes, you'll get the feature via software update โ€“ no workshop visit!
โœ…

What Do You Need to Do?

Your task with FSD Supervised โ€“ spoiler: almost nothing

+
1

Sit in Driver's Seat

Buckle up as usual. You are the "Supervisor" โ€“ the watcher.

2

Enter Destination & Activate FSD

Start navigation, then press the right lever down twice (or in newer models: activate on screen).

3

Look Forward

The interior camera checks if you're paying attention. You don't have to stare โ€“ but look forward regularly. Check phone? Briefly okay. Constantly? System warns you.

4

Be Ready to Intervene

Hands don't need to be on the wheel, but you must be able to take over anytime. In uncertainty: Just grab the wheel โ€“ FSD deactivates immediately.

๐Ÿ˜Œ
The Result
You sit relaxed in the car, look forward (like a passenger who's watching), and the Tesla does the rest. After a week, it feels completely normal โ€“ and you never want to drive yourself again.
